Health Tracking Options on FirstPage

Direct care professionals, guardians, physicians, nurses and other health professionals can use the Therap Health Tracking application to quickly track and report on health data for individuals including vital signs, weight, menses, seizures, wound assessments, and respiratory treatments. In addition, updates are being incorporated into the system in the soon to be released version.

The appointment tracking feature offers a simple way to keep track of all appointments with hospitals, physicians and other health professionals and then follow up on future appointments, lab work, medication changes, and new strategies. The system maintains a common database to keep contact information of hospitals and health professionals. You can just select a contact from this database on an appointment form and the system will automatically collect all available information.

The application also includes a monthly medical reporting module which lets you compare various categories of medical data for an individual across a span of several months. These reports can be exported to Microsoft Excel for further analysis.

Health reports are easy to enter, access and update. When a health tracking form is updated, the older version of the form is archived so users do not need to worry about losing any data. Keeping these records has never been easier or more efficient!

Using Therap at a meeting or review

Reports don’t have to be static any more.

One of the many exciting things that we have heard back from our customers is that Therap is being used in all aspects of providing support. One example of this is Therap reports are being used during meetings.

Whether it is a provider wide incident report review meeting or a quarterly review for a particular person, people are finding that showing information live using Therap has many benefits over a traditional paper report.

Apart from saving masses of paper, people can actually ask questions about the data and find out the answer right away. Imagine looking at a quarterly review of a particular teaching strategy when someone on the team asks how that data compares to the same time last year. Well, just a couple of clicks and there is the answer!

With the prices of LCD projectors dropping, if you haven’t tried this kind of meeting and would like some help setting it up, give us a call at (203) 596 7553.

Export to Excel

ISP Report in Excel

ISP Report in Excel

Export to Excel has always been one of the most popular features of Therap applications. With the help of this extremely useful tool, users are able to export certain forms, lists or data sheets to Microsoft Excel and save it in a compatible format.

Using this tool is extremely easy! All you have to do is click once on the Export to Excel link at the bottom of the form. The system immediately transfers the data to Microsoft Excel which pops up on a new window. Once the data has been exported to Excel, you are able to carry out advanced mathematical and statistical operations on them for further analysis.

Previously, only a handful of Therap application forms, lists and data sheets incorporated this tool. Therap users have found this option extremely useful and felt they could use it more. Keeping this in mind, the Export to Excel option has been extended to all lists of reports and search results in the 5.2 version of Therap applications, soon to be released.

Q & A
Q: After Therap 5.2 is released, what will happen when someone updates a Health Tracking form?
A:
When a user updates a health tracking form, the older version will be automatically saved as Archived Data. The Archive Data option is going to be included into Therap applications it the 5.2 release. The archive tools include efficient search/lookup options. Search results are displayed in manageable lists and can be exported to Microsoft Excel format. Users with the HT Update role will be able to view archived health reports in ‘read only’ format. The updated reports will include an update history link in the form header. Users with proper permissions, while viewing the updated reports, will be able to use this link to find older versions of the form in the archive.
